In this role, you will help strengthen the security maturity of a technology and data-focused domain, working closely with DevOps teams and a wide range of security, risk, architecture and business stakeholders.You will act as a key security liaison, translating security requirements into practical actions, supporting teams with the implementation of security controls and maintaining oversight of security risks across IT assets and solutions.Your JobActing as the primary point of contact for IT security matters, working closely with DevOps teams, Solution Architects, Security SPOCs, IT Leads, Risk Champions and CISO AdvisorsGuiding teams on security requirements and translating policies and guidelines into practical, actionable security measuresProviding hands-on support to DevOps teams with the implementation and improvement of IT security controlsReviewing security assessments and designs, conducting threat modelling, and managing security risks and deviationsSupporting teams in understanding security findings, defining appropriate remediation actions, and embedding security throughout the development lifecyclePromoting security best practices and awareness across the domainCollaborating with technical, security, risk and business stakeholders to continuously improve security maturity, processes and ways of workingYour ProfileStrong experience in cybersecurity, information security or IT securityGood understanding of security best practices and experience implementing IT security controlsExperience supporting DevOps or engineering teams with security-related topicsExperience with security assessments, threat assessments, and/or threat modellingKnowledge of cloud security, particularly Azure and/or AWSAbility to translate security requirements and risks into clear and actionable measures for technical teamsStrong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work across technical and business functionsSecurity-minded and analytical, with a strong focus on continuous improvementCCSP and/or CISSP certification is considered a strong advantageFluent in spoken and written EnglishWe OfferHybrid working environment€7,000 based on 40 hours per week25 vacation daysOur ClientOur client is a leading financial institution in the Netherlands, focused on innovation, scalability, and modern cloud-based platforms.
