At GoMining, a General Manager is the end-to-end owner of a business direction, responsible for its strategy, P&L, product, team, and overall results. You will own the strategy, P&L, product roadmap, delivery, key metrics, provider relationships, and engineering team behind the Cards direction.Your goal is to build a card product customers actively use while creating sustainable economics for the company.ResponsibilitiesBusiness OwnershipOwn the Cards business end-to-end, including strategy, P&L, budget, roadmap, and executionDefine and manage the economics of the card programOwn TPV, active cards, customer spending, retention, and monetisationBuild financial models covering revenue, card issuance costs, processing costs, customer margin, and LTVIdentify opportunities to improve profitability and customer engagementPresent strategy, performance, and key decisions directly to C-level stakeholdersCard ProductOwn the full card customer journey from onboarding and issuance to activation and everyday spendingDevelop virtual and physical card productsOwn subscription, cashback, and other card-related mechanicsImprove activation rates and increase customer spendingDevelop simplified onboarding and KYC flows together with ComplianceOwn card-related customer experience and continuously identify friction pointsIssuing & ProcessingOwn relationships with issuing, processing, BaaS, and other card infrastructure providersManage integrations and operational dependenciesNegotiate commercial terms with providersReduce vendor lock-in and build resilience against changes in provider terms or availabilityEnsure the card business can continue operating reliably as it scalesManage critical incidents involving providers together with engineeringEconomics & GrowthUnderstand and optimize the unit economics of every active cardTrack customer profitability, card issuance and servicing costs, transaction economics, retention, and LTVIdentify opportunities to increase transaction volume and customer engagementDesign product mechanics that encourage customers to keep spending through GoMining CardsWork with Growth and Marketing on acquisition, activation, and retention initiativesTeam & DeliveryLead the engineering team responsible for the Cards directionWork directly with the Tech Lead on architecture and deliveryOwn roadmap, priorities, backlog, releases, and key incidentsHire and develop team members when neededBuild a high-speed, data-driven execution cultureUse AI and automation across product development, analytics, specifications, QA, and operational processesRequirementsStrong end-to-end experience with card productsExperience with issuing, processing, BaaS, or card infrastructureExperience launching or scaling a card programStrong understanding of card unit economicsAbility to model customer margin, transaction economics, issuance costs, and LTVExperience negotiating directly with card providersExperience managing dependency on external providers and ideally reducing vendor lock-inStrong product and commercial mindsetExperience owning revenue or P&L is highly preferredStrong analytical and data-driven approachTechnical literacy and ability to work directly with engineering teamsExperience managing product or engineering teamsExperience in fintech, neobanking, payments, crypto cards, wallets, or exchanges is highly relevantBenefitsProfessional growth: support for courses, conferences, and English learning (up to 100% coverage).
