Senior Security Automation EngineerAmsterdam, Netherlands — HybridCybersecurity SaaS | Security Automation | Cloud Security | DevSecOpsOur client, an innovative Cybersecurity SaaS company based in Amsterdam, is looking for a Senior Security Automation Engineer to design and build the automation capabilities that power its cloud-native security platform.What You'll Be Working On• Designing and developing automated security workflows that improve detection and response capabilities• Building Python services and automation tools that integrate with cloud infrastructure and security platforms• Developing Infrastructure as Code using Terraform to provision secure cloud environments• Integrating SIEM and SOAR platforms to automate investigations and incident response• Creating reusable automation for vulnerability management, security monitoring, and cloud security operations• Collaborating with Detection Engineers and Product teams to improve the intelligence and efficiency of the security platform• Automating cloud security controls across AWS production environments• Building APIs and integrations with security products and enterprise cloud services• Improving platform observability, resilience, and operational efficiency through automation• Helping define the long-term automation strategy for the company's cybersecurity platformExperience Required• 5+ years of experience in Security Engineering, Security Automation, DevSecOps, or Cloud Security• Strong commercial Python development experience• Hands-on experience working with AWS cloud infrastructure• Experience building Infrastructure as Code using Terraform• Experience integrating enterprise SIEM platforms into automated security workflows• Knowledge of SOAR platforms and security orchestration principles• Good understanding of cloud security, identity management, networking, and modern software engineering practices• Passion for automation and building scalable security engineering solutionsNice to Have• Experience with Kubernetes security and containerised applications• Knowledge of Detection-as-Code or Security-as-Code practices• Experience with AWS Security Hub, GuardDuty, or Inspector• Familiarity with OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, or Grafana• Experience building security APIs or integrations for SaaS products• Certifications such as AWS Security Specialty, CISSP, GCSA, or GIAC are an advantage
