Senior Project Manager - Jira Governance & Business AnalysisLocation: Amsterdam (Hybrid) Working Pattern: 40 hours per week Start Date: Immediate availability preferred Contract: Initial contract with strong extension potential after EOY - Only open for ZZP A leading international technology organisation is seeking a Senior Project Manager with deep Jira expertise to support a large-scale governance, standardisation and technology enablement programme.This is not a traditional project management position. The role is heavily focused on enterprise Jira governance, business analysis and impact assessment, ensuring that changes to Jira configurations, workflows, fields, reporting structures and ways of working are aligned with business objectives and can be successfully adopted across multiple teams.The successful candidate will act as the bridge between business stakeholders, technology teams and Jira platform specialists, helping to drive consistency, efficiency and governance across a complex enterprise environment.Key ResponsibilitiesJira Governance and Platform ImprovementLead and support enterprise-wide Jira governance initiatives.Assess the impact of proposed changes to Jira workflows, fields, permissions, configurations and reporting structures.Evaluate risks, dependencies and downstream consequences before implementation.Support the development of scalable and standardised Jira practices across multiple teams.Work closely with Jira platform specialists and engineers to ensure solutions are practical, sustainable and aligned with organisational needs.Help establish and maintain robust governance processes around Jira usage and administration.Business Analysis and Requirements ManagementGather, analyse and formalise requirements from diverse stakeholder groups.Translate business needs into detailed and actionable technical requirements.Define business rules, acceptance criteria, user impacts and implementation considerations.Produce high-quality documentation that provides clarity on objectives, requirements, ownership and decision-making.Project and Change ManagementLead initiatives from discovery and analysis through implementation and operational handover.Develop project plans, roadmaps, milestones and success measures.Monitor progress, risks, dependencies and stakeholder alignment.Drive adoption of new processes, governance frameworks and tooling enhancements through structured change management practices.Risk and Impact AssessmentConduct detailed impact assessments for changes affecting tooling, processes and governance frameworks.Identify assumptions, constraints, risks and potential failure points.Provide evidence-based recommendations to support decision-making.Ensure that changes are properly evaluated before implementation to minimise disruption and maximise business value.Stakeholder ManagementPartner with Product, Technology, Operations and Programme stakeholders.Facilitate alignment across teams with different objectives and priorities.Communicate complex concepts, risks and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.Engage confidently with senior stakeholders and decision-makers.Required ExperienceFive or more years of experience in Project Management, Business Analysis, Change Management or a related discipline.Strong hands-on expertise with Jira within complex enterprise environments.Experience with Jira administration, configuration, workflow design and governance.Strong understanding of the Atlassian ecosystem and best practices.Experience assessing the business impact of Jira and process changes.Proven ability to translate business requirements into structured technical solutions.Experience working within Agile delivery environments.Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.Experience working in large, fast-paced organisations.Preferred ExperienceAtlassian certifications.Experience supporting enterprise Jira transformation or harmonisation programmes.Experience developing governance frameworks and standardised ways of working.Strong analytical and data-driven problem-solving capabilities.Please reply before Tuesday EOD to be considered for this request.
