For a large consumer-facing digital organisation, we are looking for three experienced Databricks BI Developers to support a major data and reporting transformation.You will work within the reporting layer of a modern Databricks environment. The underlying datasets and models are developed by upstream data teams. Your focus will be on using Databricks SQL to transform this data into reliable dashboards, reports and reusable BI solutions for business stakeholders.ResponsibilitiesDevelop dashboards and reports using Databricks SQLBuild reusable reporting solutions within a governed self-service analytics environmentTranslate stakeholder requirements into clear BI deliverablesValidate and reconcile dashboard results against source data and expected valuesSupport dashboard QA and UAT before production releasesInvestigate and resolve reporting and data-quality issuesImprove dashboard performance and query efficiencyDocument reporting logic, definitions and validation processesCollaborate with analytics engineers, data teams and business stakeholdersRequired experienceStrong professional experience with Databricks as your primary data platformHands-on experience using Databricks SQL specifically for reporting and dashboard developmentExperience working with curated or pre-modelled datasetsStrong SQL skills and understanding of reporting data modelsExperience building governed, reusable BI solutions instead of one-off reportsProven experience with dashboard validation, data reconciliation, QA and UATKnowledge of SQL and dashboard performance optimisationStrong stakeholder communication skillsProfessional working proficiency in EnglishAvailability to work on site in the Amsterdam areaNice to haveExperience within a high-volume consumer, marketplace or e-commerce environmentExperience supporting enterprise self-service analyticsFamiliarity with data governance, access controls and standardized KPI definitionsExperience working within large data-transformation programmes
