What You'll Do:You'll join Criteo's Application & Product Security team, helping secure the products we build and operate. Working closely with Product Engineering, Platform teams, and other Security teams, you'll contribute to the security strategy of your domain while remaining hands-on. This role combines technical expertise, engineering execution, and cross-functional collaboration.Partner with Product and Platform teams to design and build secure systems and servicesAct as a trusted security advisor, guiding teams on secure design, threat modelling, and vulnerability managementIdentify, assess, prioritise, and help remediate application security risks across the organisationContribute hands-on to security initiatives, including architecture reviews, security tooling, automation, and incident response activitiesHelp define and evolve security standards, best practices, and KPIs to continuously improve the security posture of your domainDrive the adoption of security-by-design and shift-left security practices throughout the software development lifecycleLead complex technical projects and security initiatives, collaborating with stakeholders across multiple teamsSupport security awareness efforts by sharing knowledge, mentoring peers, and promoting secure engineering practices across the organisationCollaborate with Security, Product, and Platform teams to improve security processes, tooling, and operational excellenceWho You Are:You bring experience in Security Engineering, or have significantly contributed to application or product security initiatives in previous rolesYou have a background in Product Engineering or SRE / Platform Engineering and a strong understanding of modern software development practicesYou have experience leading complex technical projects and driving cross-functional initiatives in large-scale environmentsYou are comfortable acting as a subject matter expert on security topics and advising teams on risks, trade-offs, and best practicesYou have experience securing distributed systems, cloud-native environments, and modern application architecturesYou enjoy combining hands-on engineering, problem-solving, and technical leadershipYou influence without authority, building trust and alignment across diverse stakeholders and teamsYou demonstrate strong ownership, accountability, and sound judgement when handling sensitive security topicsYou are passionate about improving security through scalable solutions, automation, and collaborationWe acknowledge that many candidates may not meet every single role requirement listed above.
