A Snapshot of Your Day As an Industrial Cybersecurity Expert (f/m/d) you will help strengthen cybersecurity across manufacturing OT (Operational Technologies) environments. You will work in a global setting, collaborating daily with colleagues from multiple countries. Using your IT/OT security expertise, you will support, consult, and guide factory teams on cybersecurity topics. You will help shape secure manufacturing principles and contribute to the development of secure IT and OT infrastructures. This will play a key role in addressing cybersecurity needs across manufacturing environments.How You’ll Make An ImpactDefine secure manufacturing principles and support the development of secure manufacturing IT and OT infrastructureTranslate IT/OT governance policies and controls into practical implementation measures for manufacturing environmentsDefine cybersecurity requirements and demands from factories and ensure they are addressed effectivelySpecify and maintain configuration and hardening guidelines for our products, third-party components, and manufacturing equipmentCollaborate with functions such as GT ICS, SE CYS/IT, and Digitalization GPO to help secure manufacturing, production, and product development environments, and provide guidance and documentation support throughout development and engineering processes.What You BringA Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT Security, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering with a focus on IT Security, or similar experience in IT and OT environmentsMany years of experience in Industrial Cybersecurity / IT SecurityKnowledge of manufacturing infrastructure and IT/OT security technologies and concepts, including IIoT, Connected Factory environments, OT hardware, and sensorsExperience with risk-based approaches such as threat and risk analysis, as well as incident and vulnerability handlingUnderstanding of international or national IT/OT security standards, regulations, and related legal considerationsVery good, user-focused communication skills both in German and English, a value- and solution-driven mindset, and experience in stakeholder managementAbout The TeamOur Grid Technology division enables a reliable, sustainable, and digital grid.
