It is a flexible environment based on responsibility rather than fixed working patterns or unnecessary hierarchy.Role descriptionYou will become the main technical owner of the existing web platform.You will develop new functionality, improve current user journeys and make sure the frontend remains reliable, scalable and maintainable. The platform includes several customer facing and internal processes, giving your work a direct influence on both the user experience and the daily operation of the business.You will work in a multidisciplinary product team with backend developers, mobile developers, product and UX. You will also regularly collaborate with colleagues from marketing and customer operations.Your responsibilities include:Developing new functionality with Angular and TypeScriptTaking technical ownership of the web environmentImproving existing customer journeys and internal processesTranslating product and business needs into practical frontend solutionsIntegrating the frontend with REST APIs and backend servicesWorking closely with product, UX, backend and mobile developmentContributing to technical decisions, design discussions and code reviewsIdentifying technical improvements and taking the initiative to implement themBalancing delivery speed with quality, maintainability and scalabilityThis is a role for someone who can work independently and does not need a detailed process around every decision. You should be comfortable challenging assumptions, explaining technical choices and switching between product development, technical improvements and commercial requests.RequirementsAt least four years of professional experience with AngularStrong knowledge of TypeScript, HTML and CSSExperience integrating frontend applications with REST APIsThe ability to independently manage and improve an existing frontend environmentExperience working directly with product and designA pragmatic approach to architecture and software qualityProfessional working proficiency in EnglishWillingness to work from the Utrecht office at least three days per weekAn open, direct and constructive communication styleThe confidence to challenge ideas while remaining practical and collaborativeExperience or interest in backend development is a plus.
