Our technology starts with you.Reliability EngineerWe are looking for a young graduate to join our team as a Reliability Engineer for ICs used in multiple industrial domains, including automotive and industrial applications.We offer an internal training path to support the development of the skills needed to successfully cover the role.The position involves supporting the definition, management, execution, and follow-up of reliability trials and related activities for new products, new technologies, and product changes or transfers for items already in production.This role plays a key part in ensuring that product quality and reliability meet internal standards, external standards such as AEC-Q100 and JEDEC, as well as customer requirements, from development through production ramp-up. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, as well as reliability and testing laboratories, failure analysis laboratories, and physical inspection laboratories, to manage test execution, analyze results, and support problem-solving activities.Main ResponsibilitiesDefine and follow up reliability trials and qualification activitiesApply internal, external (e.g. AEC-Q100, JEDEC) and customer procedures for product reliability evaluationDefine and negotiate qualification plans and stress test conditionsManage suppliers for board definition activities, including relationship management, quotation/offers, and resolution of technical issues, for tests such as HTOL, PTC, THB, HTRB, and burn-inSupport reliability evaluations for new products and changes and transfers for products already in productionAnalyze test results against internal targets and customer application requirementsUse test equipment and software tools for data analysisManage the investigation and resolution of reliability-related issuesManage failure analysis and physical inspection activitiesRelease the final Reliability ReportProfileDegree in Electronic Engineering, Physics, or equivalentBasic knowledge of digital and analog circuitryBasic knowledge of silicon and package processesGood problem-solving and negotiation skillsStrong teamwork attitudeResults-oriented and proactive mindsetGood knowledge of English; Italian is preferredLocationCastelletto (Cornaredo), West Milan areaST is proud to be one of the 17 companies certified as a 2025 Global Top Employer and the first and only semiconductor company to achieve this distinction.
