And a culture you can help shape from day one.About The RoleWhat you'll doDesign, build, and maintain backend services in Go and Python across a microservices architecture deployed on KubernetesOwn features end-to-end — from technical design through deployment and iterationWork closely with clients and client-facing teams to understand requirements and translate them into reliable, scalable solutionsWrite clean, well-tested, production-ready code and contribute to code reviewsContribute to architectural decisions and help raise the technical bar across the teamHelp maintain and improve existing client implementations alongside building new capabilitiesWhat We're Looking For3-7+ years of software engineering experience with a strong backend focusProduction experience with Go and Python — we primarily use Go, but if your Go experience is limited you can ramp upStrong understanding of microservices and distributed systemsExperience with Kafka or similar message queue systemsFamiliarity with Redis (or equivalent in-memory data stores) and MongoDBExperience working with Kubernetes and containerised services in productionComfortable with AWS and GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelinesComfortable working in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment with high ownershipStrong communication skills — you'll be working closely with clients and cross-functional teamsGenuine curiosity about AI and how it's reshaping how products are builtNice to haveHands-on experience with AI/ML systems, LLM integration, or agentic workflowsExposure to vector databases or retrieval-augmented generation (RAG)Experience in an early-stage or scaling startupBackground in security architecture or SRE practicesLocationFully remote.
