A key part of our work is building and optimizing websites that communicate complex science in a clear and engaging way. That’s where you come in. We’re looking for a Web Development Specialist to help us design, develop, and maintain websites for our clients. This is an ideal role for someone with strong technical skills, a creative mindset, and an interest in working in the life sciences industry.What does a typical day look like at Sciential?It’s Monday morning at our Rotterdam office. After a quick coffee, you start by reviewing a client’s website performance and making small improvements to optimize loading speed. Next, you join a call with the design team to discuss a new biotech website concept and translate mockups into a responsive layout. Around lunch, you join your colleagues on the rooftop terrace before finalizing a landing page for an upcoming pharma campaign. In the afternoon, you troubleshoot a WordPress plugin issue, add a new feature for a client’s site, and end the day with a short brainstorm on how to improve website security across projects.
