Do you enjoy solving challenges and working in an international environment?We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented QA & Regulatory Affairs Specialist to join our team in Amstelveen.In this role, you will help ensure that our food products comply with applicable EU regulations and internal quality standards. You will be involved in product compliance, supplier assessments, quality documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives while collaborating with colleagues across different departments.Your Key ResponsibilitiesRegulatory Compliance & Product DocumentationEnsure compliance with applicable EU food legislation and support relevant international regulatory requirements.Prepare and maintain regulatory documentation and product compliance records.Quality Assurance & Supplier ManagementReview supplier documentation, certificates of analysis (COAs), and product specifications.Coordinate supplier quality assessments and support internal and external audits.Investigate quality complaints and non-conformances, conduct root cause analysis, and follow up on corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).Quality Systems & Continuous ImprovementMaintain Quality Management System (QMS) documentation and support HACCP compliance.Monitor quality performance, identify potential risks, and recommend practical improvements.Support audit preparation, document control, and quality improvement initiatives.Cross-functional CollaborationWork closely with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Product Development to address quality and regulatory matters.Provide practical QA/RA guidance and support the consistent application of quality standards.What We’re Looking ForIdeally 2–5 years of relevant experience in Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs, Food Safety, or a related position within the food industry.A Master’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Quality Management, or a related field.Basic knowledge of the PPWR (Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation) and FCM (Food Contact Materials) regulations.Good knowledge of EU food legislation, particularly food labeling, allergens, and product compliance.Practical understanding of HACCP, food safety principles, and quality management systems.Experience with product specifications, technical documentation, supplier assessments, or quality investigations.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and collaborate effectively with different teams.Strong communication skills and professional proficiency in English.Nice to HaveKnowledge of Korean food regulations.Familiarity with BRCGS or other recognized food safety standards.Experience with imported food products and international suppliers.Knowledge of Dutch or Korean.Your First 90 DaysWe provide a structured onboarding experience to help you settle into your role and succeed.Month 1 – Discover: Get to know our people, products, and quality processes.Month 2 – Develop: Build hands-on experience and collaborate across teams.Month 3 – Deliver: Take ownership of assigned responsibilities and contribute independently.What We OfferCompetitive Salary: €3,000 – €4,500 gross per month, depending on experience and qualifications.Hybrid Working: One work-from-home day per week.Annual Leave: 25 days of paid annual leave per year, based on full-time employment (40 hours per week).Holiday Allowance: 8% annual holiday allowance.Commuting Support: €0.25 per kilometre or an NS Business Card, in line with company policy.Pension Scheme: Pension benefits in accordance with company policy.Performance Rewards: Bonus opportunities based on company policy and performance.Professional Development: Opportunities for learning, career growth, and professional development.International Environment: Collaboration with colleagues from diverse cultural and professional backgrounds.Employee Well-being: Support for important life events and personal milestones.Team Culture: Team events, company celebrations, and cultural activities.Interested in Joining Us?If you are ready to take the next step in your QA and Regulatory Affairs career and contribute to an international food business, we would love to hear from you.Apply now and grow your career with Daesang Europe B.V.!Sourced from LinkedIn.
