The Manager, Data Engineering leads the development and operation of scalable data platforms that support enterprise analytics including reporting, and machine learning initiatives. The manager leads a team of data engineers in building and maintaining reliable data pipelines in a modern cloud data environment to deliver high-quality, trusted data across the organization. The manager partners with analytics, data governance, and business stakeholders to ensure data solutions are in alignment with enterprise data strategy.Platform Leadership:• Lead the design and evolution of the enterprise data platform architecture supporting analytics, reporting, and machine learning initiatives.• Establish and enforce data engineering standards, best practices, and development frameworks to ensure scalable and maintainable data solutions.• Oversee the cloud data environment built on Snowflake and Microsoft Azure and drive continuous improvement.Data Engineering Delivery:• Lead the development and operation of ELT/ETL pipelines that ingest and transform data from multiple enterprise systems.• Manage and mentor a team of data engineers, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality data solutions.• Ensure the reliability, performance, and data quality of pipelines supporting enterprise analytics workloadsCollaboration and Governance:• Contribute to the execution of the enterprise data and analytics strategy.• Collaborate with enterprise architecture, IT, and data governance teams to align with security, governance, and compliance standards.• Partner with data science, analytics, and business teams to enable advanced analytics and data-driven decision making.Education:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.Master’s degree is a plus.Work Experience:• 8–12 years of experience in data engineering, data platform development, or related roles.• 3–5 years of experience managing or leading data engineering teams.• Experience designing and operating enterprise-scale data platforms and pipelines.• Experience working in large or global enterprise environments is preferred.Skills:• Expertise in cloud data platforms and data warehousing technologies, particularly Snowflake.• Expertise in Microsoft Azure services• Leadership and CollaborationStrategic and Analytical Thinking Communication and ExecutionPlease submit your application in English.Candidates must have the legal right to live and work in Spain.
