Job SummaryThe Product Team is seeking a motivated Product Engineer to be a multi-disciplinary European technical resource. The Product Engineer will directly work for the Product Team interfacing with Sales and Customers on advanced AI driven robotic picking solutions for warehouses. This role will help manage a Show Room, Demo and Test site in Amsterdam and conduct pre-sales and post-sales customer site visits. Success in this role requires a passion to work across disciplines and to support internal and external customers.LocationAmsterdam (Haarlem), Netherlands.Responsibilities Lead European Demo and Test site for Robotic PickingCoordinate visits to BG AmsterdamLead tours and in-depth product demonstrationsConduct customer site pre-sale visitsEvaluate customer requirements vs technologyConduct customer tests at Amsterdam demo site under direction of Go To Market teamPerform visits to existing and ramping Customer sitesAnalysis and expert investigations for onsite issuesInteract with operating teamsComplete data analysis to increase value at existing sitesMinimum QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Math, Economics, a related field or strong computer science skills.Ability to present findings and build consensus.Presentation and public speaking2+ years of experience with warehouse logistics, automation or industrial robotics.Experience working on teams bringing products to market or a start-up.Trouble shooting and root cause analysisFluent Dutch and EnglishPreferred Qualifications German, French language skills5+ years work in the industrial product sector.Customer facing sales or sales support experienceExpert knowledge of warehouse operations or industrial robotics.Practical experience in one or more of the following areas:Robotic manipulationSortation and conveyorVision systems and sensorsFeasibility studies and proposalsEntrepreneurial or early-stage company experienceData analysis using PythonWorking knowledge of ROS, Linux, KubernetesProfessional presentation and collateral creationOther RequirementsAbility to travel 30%+ within Europe, primarily Western Europe mostly day trips or single overnightVisa sponsorship not available for this role9010-2602JKSourced from LinkedIn.
