growing team at Naphora Games Group and help us design, build, operate, and scale robust backend systems and platforms.You’ll work hands-on with backend services, APIs, databases, integrations, and production systems, helping us build reliable and scalable solutions that can support large user bases and growing workloads.You’ll work closely with Engineering, Product, BI, and other teams, contributing to architecture and technical decision-making while supporting systems throughout their lifecycle, from development through production and live operations.You’ll also work with modern AI services and APIs, integrating AI models and AI-powered capabilities into our backend systems and products.ResponsibilitiesBackend Development & ArchitectureDesign, build, and maintain scalable backend systems, services, and APIsContribute to system architecture and long-term technical decisionsBuild service layers and reusable components that can support multiple products and use casesDesign and optimize database schemas, queries, indexing, and data modelsBuild asynchronous systems using queues, workers, scheduled jobs, and event-driven workflowsDevelop and maintain integrations with external platforms, APIs, and third-party servicesScale, Reliability & Live OperationsDesign systems capable of supporting high traffic, large user bases, and growing workloadsSupport systems throughout their lifecycle, from development to production and live operationsImprove backend performance, reliability, security, and maintainabilityIdentify technical across technical and product teamsQualifications5+ years of professional backend engineering experience, or equivalent hands-on experience building complex production systemsStrong experience designing, building, and maintaining backend systems in productionProven experience working on live systems, products, or platforms serving a large number of usersExperience operating or supporting production environments as part of LiveOps, platform operations, or continuous product operationsHands-on experience integrating AI tools, models, LLMs, or AI APIs into production systems and building practical solutions on top of themAbility to design and implement end-to-end AI-enabled workflows connecting AI services with backend systems, databases, APIs, and product logicStrong understanding of backend architecture, distributed systems, API design, databases, caching, concurrency, scalability, performance optimization, and system reliabilityStrong experience with at least one backend language or framework such as Python, Node.js/TypeScript, Go, Java, or C#Strong SQL and database design experience, including PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar relational databasesExperience building REST APIs and service-based architecturesExperience with Redis or similar caching technologiesExperience with message queues, workers, or event-driven systemsExperience integrating third-party APIs and
