Kubernetes Platform Engineer / Dev ops / Vienna - Fully onsite - United Nations projectBuild your next career move around Kubernetes, GitOps and a hands-on platform operations role supporting a United Nations project in Vienna.We’re looking for a Kubernetes Operations Specialist who enjoys investigating technical issues, keeping applications running reliably and helping developers bring new services into production. You’ll work closely with DevOps Operators and Platform Engineers, taking an active role in daily operations and improving how applications are deployed and monitored.The roleMonitor deployments, investigate faults and resolve operational issues.Support developers with application deployments and onboarding.Improve monitoring and visibility across the platform.Onboard new applications using GitOps.Communicate technical issues, actions and progress clearly to colleagues.What you’ll needStrong knowledge of Kubernetes and SUSE Rancher or Red Hat OpenShift.Knowledge of Ceph and CephFS.Familiarity with GitOps tooling, including ArgoCD or Flux.Knowledge of identity platforms such as Keycloak, Authentik or Zitadel.Experience with monitoring tools such as Grafana or Dynatrace.Hands-on experience operating Keycloak, Harbor, Nexus and SUSE Rancher.The ability to read and understand Python, Go and Rust code.English proficiency at C1 level or above.Useful additional experienceExperience with Proxmox, Apache Superset, Apache Airflow, Lakekeeper or Apache Flink would be welcome. A strong personal interest in Kubernetes or distributed computing, including projects or technical contributions outside your day-to-day work, would also help you stand out.Interested?
