Salt is currently hiring a Mobile Developer(kotlin) for a client of ours in Amsterdam.Role is freelance(kvk/zzp) for 6 months, paying 100 euros an hour.Role OverviewWe are looking for a Kotlin Mobile Developer to design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality native Android applications.You will work closely with product, design, QA, and engineering teams to deliver scalable, reliable, and user-friendly mobile solutions while taking ownership across the development lifecycle.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain native Android applications using Kotlin and modern Android practices.Write clean, reusable, maintainable, and well-tested code.Design and implement new mobile features based on business and product requirements.Apply appropriate architecture, design patterns, and Android development standards.Develop automated unit and UI tests and continuously improve application quality.Identify and resolve performance, reliability, and production issues.Participate in technical design, code reviews, and architecture discussions.Monitor application performance and contribute to continuous improvement.Collaborate effectively with product, design, QA, backend, and engineering teams.Contribute to technical documentation and support knowledge sharing within the team.Skills & ExperienceStrong experience developing native Android applications with Kotlin.Good knowledge of Android SDK, Jetpack, and modern Android architecture.Experience with automated testing and CI/CD.Understanding of REST APIs and
