Initiativ is building a modern commodities exchange for physical spot & derivatives, starting with the €1trn market of emissions rights instruments (EUAs). The exchange is purpose-built to replace legacy models unchanged since 2005, enabling better price discovery access and trading for corporate end-users currently routed through brokers, while lowering fees, optimizing collateral, and diversifying traded instruments for institutional traders.
