Do you get energy from taking the technical leadership for the core Kubernetes platform that are responsible for international connectivity and and compute? n your tribe you will work alongside Platform/Network/Cloud/Security & Site reliability engineers (15 in total), 1 PO and a engineering manager. The platform supports 35 internal DevOps and DataOps teams.Impact is one of the words to be highlighted here. As a Lead Kubernetes platform engineer you get the chance to set-up new Kubernetes nodes, both on premise, on the edge (Talos) and in Azure (AKS). You’ll design the platform to be redundant and mission critical (99.99% availability). Minutes of downtime, disrupt the global supply chain, and that means unhappy stakeholders.Peak into some of the technologies you will get to utilize:Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, Python/GO, Datadog, Keycloak, Backstage, Talos, Ansible, Terraform, Functions, LinuxResponsibilities you will have: Technical Enablement – have a vision on Platform Engineering and influence people;Mentoring, hiring and set up best practices;PoC work, build solutions to implement.Design cloud infrastructure/architecture;Building Self-service functionality;Migrating existing workloads to your platform;What you’ll bring:5+ years of working experience as Software, DevOps, Platform Engineering3+ years working with cloud, IaC and cloud engineering1+ years working with K8sTechnical Leadership: 1+ yearSpeaking Dutch (b2 minimum) & EnglishBenefits:A base compensation op to €105k + 10% bonus + 25+% pension scheme, 3 days WFH per week.Wanna now more?
