This role involves assisting our team as we provide commercial guidance to a Netherlands-based logistics firm, focusing on improving their operational efficiency through structured data and automation. As this is a fully remote position, you will collaborate with our partners and technical staff through digital channels to ensure our automation efforts reflect the ground reality of the logistics market. What you will do Build and maintain basic scripts to automate the collection of data from various commercial sources. Configure AI tools to help summarize and categorize reports regarding counterparties and market behaviors. Test automated workflows to ensure they accurately reflect the investment logic required by our clients. Help clean and format datasets so they can be used effectively in our commercial scenario models. Collaborate with senior advisors to translate complex business requirements into simple, automated tasks. Document technical processes clearly so that non-technical team members can understand how the tools work. Monitor the performance of existing automation scripts and suggest logic updates when errors occur. Assist in the deployment of small scale AI applications that help our team process research more efficiently. What you bring Basic familiarity with Python or other scripting languages used for task automation. A strong interest in practical AI applications that support commercial judgment and decision-making. Clear communication skills and the ability to explain your technical work in plain language. A disciplined approach to research and a high level of attention to detail when testing code. Commercial curiosity regarding how large logistics entities and sovereign groups operate. Basic knowledge of how to interact with common AI models and application programming interfaces. The ability to work independently and manage your own tasks in a remote environment.
