The SDM team plays a critical role in automating and streamlining the onboarding of supplier data, which often arrives in various formats such as spreadsheets, PDFs, and images. Your primary responsibility will be to develop, enhance, and maintain features that transform complex, high-volume, and industry-specific supplier data into trusted product catalog information. This involves working on data-processing pipelines that incorporate deterministic algorithms and AI models, such as large language models, to extract attributes, classify products, and ensure data quality at scale.As a Software Engineer at Akeneo, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, participate in customer discovery to understand real-world needs, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our platform. You will be involved in end-to-end feature development—from designing and coding to monitoring and support—while growing into a senior engineering role through mentorship, code reviews, and active participation in our engineering community. This role offers the opportunity to work across the full technology stack, including backend processing, front-end interfaces built with TypeScript and React, and AI-powered data extraction tools.
