Transparency, reliability and collaboration are central to how we operate.What will you do?As a Support Engineer, you help organizations successfully use our authentication platform. You will handle first and second line of support and work on real technical issues involving protocols, servers and security that go beyond standard IT support questions.Your work includes:Handling and analysing incoming support requestsInvestigating login and authentication issues across multiple systemsTroubleshooting SAML and OpenID Connect authentication flowsInstalling and configuring new customer environmentsManaging and replacing signing and TLS certificatesAnalysing log files and identifying root causes of incidentsHelping restore services after outages or configuration errorsAdvising customers and technical contacts on integrationsDocumenting solutions and improving internal knowledgeYou will regularly work directly with developers, architects and system administrators at customer organisations.What kind of person fits this role?You enjoy figuring out why something works or why it doesn’t.You are curious, patient and not afraid to dive into logs or technical documentation.You do not need to know everything yet, but you do need technical affinity and the motivation to learn.We are looking for someone who:Has at least 2 years of relevant technical IT experienceCommunicates clearly in Dutch and EnglishIs structured and analytical in problem solvingTakes ownership of issues and follows them through to resolutionIs comfortable talking to both technical and non-technical usersYour technical experience includes:LinuxJavaWeb servers such as Apache and TomcatCertificates, HTTPS and basic networkingAuthentication protocols (SAML, OpenID Connect) — big plus!Databases (MariaDB)VirtualizationService management tools (Jira JSM)You are not expected to know all of this already.
