The Platform team builds that foundation for Bettermile, from shared infrastructure and authentication to observability, alerting, and developer tooling, so product teams can build, deploy, operate, and secure their products with confidence. The Platform Team's mission is to empower product teams by minimizing their cognitive load, so they can move faster and deliver more business value to our customers.You will be joining a highly impactful role where you will balance hands-on technical execution (approx. 60%) with strategic stakeholder engagement and mentorship (approx. 40%).Our current tech stack: AWS(CDK, EC2, ECS, S3, EventBridge, SQS, Location Services, API Gateway), Pulumi, Kotlin, New Relic, Snowflake, PagerDuty, GitHub, GitHub Actions, GitHub Copilot and Claude Code.You will be taking care ofDriving the evolution and stabilization of our central authentication systemsTaking ownership of our infrastructure's observability, scalability, security, and cost-efficiency, in close collaboration with teams and stakeholdersImplementing infrastructure-as-code across our ecosystemsProviding Mentorship for platform senior engineers, guiding their professional growth, and fostering strong cross-team collaborationImplementing the company vision by championing DevOps culture, and establishing platform engineering best practices across the organizationNo echo chambers here!
