X-Haul team, part of Portfolio Business Unit, is providing Microwave transport solution within Nokia. Microwave Lab is responsible of the design of microwave radios developed in our hardware labs in accordance with international standards (mainly for the European and US markets).How You Will Contribute And What You Will LearnRequirement analysis of the devicesSet-up of dedicated test benchesMeasurement of the devicesHW unit test/qualification and reportingHW project status reporting and tracking Key Skills And ExperienceYou have:Minimum High school degree (Diploma) in electronic or telecommunicationBackground in Maths and PhysicsKnowledge of analog circuit design, linear and non-linearKnowledge of microwave system theory and basic blocks (LNA, PA, synthesizer, mixer, etc..)Fluent spoken and written EnglishGood teamwork skillsAdaptability and accountabilityEffectively cooperating with people with different technical background and culture, dealing with diverse situations and viewpointsEager to learn and expand own knowledge. It would be nice if you also had:Experience on HW designKnowledge of waveguide microwave circuit theoryKnowledge of microwave planar circuit theoryKnowledge of modulation and demodulation theory, QAM signalsKnowledge of widely used simulators such as CST and HFSS ADS, AWR and SPICEKnowledge of schematic capture tools such as MentorKnowledge of microwave instrumentationKnowledge of active devices and electronic system thermal managementFluency in Italian.
