Job Title: Senior Frontend Software EngineerLocation: Paris, FranceType: PermanentOur client are a semiconductor company looking for a Frontend Software Engineer to do hybrid working from their site in Paris.Responsibilities:• Define and drive the front-end technical vision, architecture, and technology roadmap for our products.• Design and deliver scalable, robust, and maintainable GUI solutions, contributing hands-on to critical features where required.• Lead architecture, design, and code reviews while championing engineering best practices, code quality, and technical standards.• Mentor and develop engineers, fostering technical excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement across the team.• Collaborate with Product Management, Backend Engineering, QA, and customer-facing teams to deliver high-quality technical solutions.Requirements:• 10+ years of professional software development experience.• Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Hardware Engineering, or related field• Recognized expertise in modern Front-end development (React, TypeScript or equivalent technologies).• Strong software architecture experience for complex systems.• Extensive experience with large-scale desktop applications.• Experience with UI test automation (Playwright or similar technologies).• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.• Excellent communication and technical leadership abilities.• Proven experience mentoring software engineers.• Fluent French and English.Desirables:• Experience with semiconductor EDA tools or related domains.• Knowledge of graphics performance optimization, rendering technologies, and large-scale graph visualization.• Experience defining and driving technical standards across an engineering organizationIf this sounds of interest, please apply here or reach out to daniel@microtech-global.com
