About the role This role sits within Tesco Technology’s Customer APIs platform, specifically in the Profile Domain. The Profile Domain is a core platform that enables secure, scalable, and real-time access to customer personal data, forming the foundation of Tesco’s ambition to create a single customer view across the Group. It supports customer journeys across e-commerce, stores, marketing, customer support, and partner ecosystems. The domain is responsible for: Core profile data: names, email addresses, phone numbers, address book, devices, and customer preferences Internal Data connectivity and intelligence: customer matching, search, insights, and integrations with partners Value-added services: verification, customer status, data portability, and audit/history capabilities As a domain, we are accountable for being the authoritative source of truth for customer personal data, ensuring it is accurate, secure, and accessible through well-governed APIs aligned with Tesco’s data privacy principles. In this role, you'll work work at the intersection of customer experience, platform engineering, and data privacy, solving complex problems to enable inclusive, accessible, and personalised experiences for millions of customers.
