UAN – B012C6📍 About the Role MVG is seeking a Center of Excellence Software Engineer to lead and support the design, development, integration, and sustainment of specialized 959 software solutions for defense-focused antenna and RCS measurement environments. This role combines hands-on software engineering, technical leadership, customer support, and team coordination to deliver secure, compliant, high-quality solutions aligned with program requirements. Join us to shape the future. 🚀 Responsibilities - Lead technical execution for specialized 959 software solutions, from requirements translation through integration, deployment, and sustainment. - Develop, test, debug, and document software applications, automation scripts, and tools supporting system performance and customer needs. - Manage engineering task planning, resource allocation, project schedules, SAP project tracking, and delivery against quality and schedule expectations. - Oversee technical mentorship, performance feedback, career development support, timesheet review, and PTO approvals for engineering staff. - Collaborate with engineering teams, program leadership, and customers to provide status reporting, risk assessments, program updates, and technical guidance. - Ensure system integration, troubleshooting, customer training, and technical support are delivered effectively across office, lab, and customer-site environments. - Drive resolution of technical and operational barriers that impact team performance, customer satisfaction, and program delivery. ✅ Requirements - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. - Experience supporting MVG 959 systems or similar defense platforms, including software solutions in regulated defense environments. - Proficiency in C/C++, Python, PowerShell, or .NET for software development, automation, testing, and troubleshooting. - Experience with the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), including design, development, testing, debugging, documentation, integration, and deployment. - Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills in complex technical environments. - Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment. - Must qualify as a U.S. Person under ITAR/EAR regulations and be able to travel domestically and internationally up to 25%.🌟 Nice to Have - Experience using MVG 959 Spectrum software for near-field antenna measurements, 3D radiation pattern analysis, and automated data acquisition for mm-wave devices. - Background in antenna measurement, RCS measurement, EMC, aerospace, or defense test systems. - Experience with SAP project tracking, program reporting, risk assessment, and engineering resource planning. - Demonstrated ability to mentor engineers, resolve team conflicts, and support performance and career development.Sourced from LinkedIn.
