This role is pivotal in transforming complex data into actionable intelligence, enabling innovation and supporting the company’s vision of revolutionizing the travel experience. This role will be based in Madrid with hybrid flexibility.RESPONSIBILITIESIdentifies emerging analytic trends, data needs, and innovative solutions to address business challengesCollaborates with the Analytics Business Analysts and key stakeholders to generate hypotheses and develop models that answer impactful business questionsDesign and implement statistical models to extract meaningful insights from large datasetsParses, cleanses, and manipulates structured and unstructured data for analysisConduct quality assurance testing to ensure accuracy and reliability of modelsWorks with data sourcing teams to develop, test, implement, and maintain analytic models, including attribute identification, exploratory data analysis, and data transformationPartners with business teams to review data sources, resolve inconsistencies, and validate business logic for data discovery initiativesPerforms advanced text, quantitative, statistical, financial, and operational analyses.Designs, builds, and scales end-to-end ML pipelines, enabling efficient data processing, model training, deployment, and monitoring in production environmentsWHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR Experience: Proven track record in data modeling using leading analytics tools and relational data structuresTechnical Skills: Strong programming skills in Python, PySpark and SQL, with solid understanding of databases, data modeling, and data structuresMachine Learning Expertise: Strong foundation in machine learning techniques, including model selection, performance evaluation, and validation; experience with model explainability, interpretability, and auditability to ensure transparency and reliability in production environmentsBig Data & Cloud: Hands-on experience with modern cloud-based data platforms, such as Databricks and familiarity with scalable data architectureCollaboration: Ability to work cross-functionally with IT, business analysts, and data teamsCommunication Skills: Strong communication and storytelling abilities, with a clear focus on translating complex analytical concepts into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders and business usersLanguages: Fluent English (spoken and written)Personal Competences: Team worker, able to lead and support others, and contribute to growth within a collaborative and agile team environmentData Product Mindset: Experience delivering end-to-end data products, from data ingestion and modeling to deployment and business adoptionVisualization Skills: Experience with data visualization tools, especially Power BI, to effectively communicate insights and support decision-making
