For permanent employees, the role follows a hybrid model based in Barcelona, Madrid, or Valencia.Join Amaris Consulting, where you can develop your potential and make a difference within the company.WHAT WOULD YOU NEED? ✍️Must-have5+ years of experience as a Database Reliability Engineer, Database Administrator, or in a similar role.Strong experience managing and supporting enterprise database environments.Hands-on experience with OpenShift, including database deployments and troubleshooting.Solid knowledge of database lifecycle management, including patching, upgrades, maintenance, and performance optimization.Experience working with one or more of the following technologies: MongoDB, MariaDB, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, CouchDB, Redis, and Kafka.Experience with database monitoring, automation, auditing, and troubleshooting.Knowledge of infrastructure and virtualization concepts, including VM management and blueprints.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a reliability-focused mindset.Experience working in Agile environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams.Fluent English (mandatory).Availability to work remotely from anywhere in Spain as a freelancer, or in a hybrid model based in Barcelona, Madrid, or Valencia for permanent employees (mandatory).Nice to haveExperience with infrastructure automation and scripting.Knowledge of Hybrid Cloud environments.Experience with monitoring and observability tools.Experience supporting highly available and mission-critical database platforms.👉 WHAT WILL YOU DO? 👈Act as the main technical focal point for application database environments.Manage the lifecycle of enterprise databases, including installation, patching, upgrades, and maintenance.Collaborate with infrastructure teams to deploy and maintain databases on OpenShift platforms.Ensure database reliability, availability, performance, and scalability across multiple database technologies.Monitor database environments and proactively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents.Support automation initiatives to improve operational efficiency and database management.Perform database auditing and contribute to security and compliance best practices.Optimize database performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives.Work closely with development, infrastructure, and operations teams to ensure reliable database services.Contribute to technical documentation, operational procedures, and knowledge sharing.🚀 WHY US? 🚀Join our dynamic team of talented individuals and experience a world of growth and opportunities.
