Our goal is to bridge the gap between base AI models and real production value. We are not looking for academic AI researchers to train LLMs from scratch, but builders who actively integrate modern AI tools, agentic architectures, and automation into everyday development to maximize efficiency and innovate how software is built.What will be your tasks? (key responsibilities)Trainee:Python Backend Development: Learning and assisting with writing clean Python code, fixing bugs, and implementing backend tasks under the guidance of senior engineers.AI-Assisted Coding & Learning: Using modern AI coding tools (Cursor, Copilot, ChatGPT/Claude) to speed up your learning curve, generate initial code drafts, and write unit tests.Exposure to Agentic Systems: Assisting with testing and integrating basic AI workflows, API connections, and Model Context Protocol (MCP) tooling.Testing & Quality Assurance: Writing basic unit tests, analyzing application logs, and learning how to validate AI-generated outputs for reliability.Basic Task Automation: Writing helper scripts (Python/Bash) to automate repetitive daily tasks and streamline developer workflows.Junior/Semi Senior/Senior:Application design & backend development: Architecture, coding, and backend development in Python for a complex international enterprise network controller project within a newly formed cross-functional team.AI-Assisted Development: Active use of AI assistants, prompt engineering, and API integrations to accelerate, streamline, and improve code delivery.Agentic systems: Building and maintaining reliable pipelines, agentic loops, and Model Context Protocol tooling for intelligent data processing.Robustness & security: Implementing rigorous testing, logging, and guardrails to handle non-deterministic AI outputs safely in production environments.Radical process automation: Identifying and automating routine tasks across the development lifecycle, testing, and CI/CD pipelines to eliminate manual work.What do we expect from you? (requirements)Core software engineering: Proficiency in Python and software design principles. While Python is our primary language, technological agility and the ability to adapt to other tools (e.g., Go/TypeScript/React) is welcomed.Applied AI experience: Hands-on practice with LLMs and AI toolingAI-Native builder mindset: Exceptional speed and efficiency by leveraging modern tools (Cursor, Copilot, Claude, etc.) as your digital partners during development.Pragmatic problem solver: Ability to discern when AI is the right solution versus when simple code logic (if/else) or a standard SQL query is faster and more reliable.General skills & standards: Knowledge of Client/Server architecture, REST APIs, Git, Linux, and basic networking concepts. Information about the selection processPantheon Academy is an excellent way to start your career as a Developer or Tester. We provide space for growth and young talents are more than welcome in our organization. The Trainee Program lasts for 3 months and the salary starts at 1,100 euros. Your salary grows together with increasing experience, by 100 euros every month. By the end of our Academy, you will be ready to be promoted to Software Developer with a base salary 1,500 euros.
