Key Responsibilities:Data Integration & EngineeringDesign, build and maintain scalable real-time and batch data pipelines using Python, Kafka, Snowflake and modern data technologies.Integrate ETRM systems, market data platforms and pricing engines with enterprise data platforms.Design analytical data models and ensure data quality, lineage, observability and governance.Architecture & Solution DesignAct as technical lead for customer and internal data integration projects.Define integration standards, development practices, deployment approaches and modern data architecture patterns.Participate in code and architecture reviews.Managed Services & OperationsSupport production environments delivering mission-critical trading, pricing and operational data.Diagnose complex integration and data pipeline issues while improving monitoring, alerting and operational resilience.Work with managed services teams to ensure service reliability and operational excellence.Stakeholder EngagementPartner with customers to understand requirements and translate business processes into scalable technical solutions.Communicate designs and recommendations clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.Required Skills & Experience:7+ years of experience in data engineering, data integration or related engineering roles.Strong Python, PL/SQL, Oracle, Apache Kafka and Snowflake experience.Experience building batch and real-time data pipelines.Understanding of data ingestion, transformation, performance optimization, governance and security.Experience with CI/CD and modern software development practices.Strong analytical, problem-solving and customer communication skills.Knowledge of wholesale power, gas or environmental trading.Based in the Netherlands.Nice to Have:Databricks, Power BI, Apache Airflow or Grafana.Experience with pricing, ETRM or market data platforms.What Success Looks Like:Reliable, scalable pipelines that move trading, pricing and operational data into enterprise data platforms.Improved data quality, accessibility and governance for customer analytics and reporting.Successful technical delivery of complex integration initiatives.
