We are leaders in digital technology services, delivering large-scale technological solutions to top-tier companies across multiple industries.What are we looking for?We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Architect to join our banking team and work on strategic Wealth Management platforms for a leading international financial institution.The successful candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end ownership of business-critical applications, ensuring operational excellence while contributing to architecture evolution, modernization initiatives, and cloud transformation programs.Key ResponsibilitiesAssume end-to-end ownership of the assigned application, ensuring availability, stability, performance, and lifecycle management.Act as the main point of contact for operational, technical, and functional stakeholders.Coordinate incident management, problem resolution, application upgrades, and production support activities.Conduct application health checks, performance analysis, and capacity planning.Assess and govern application changes through risk and impact analysis.Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and architecture teams to deliver enhancements and resolve defects.Maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and application inventories.Drive application rationalization and decommissioning initiatives when appropriate.Ensure compliance with technical requirements, quality standards, security controls, and non-functional requirements.Partner with Enterprise Architects to evaluate solution enhancements and future architectural evolution.Support target-state architecture initiatives including modularization, API strategies, observability, and cloud migration.Identify technical debt, scalability challenges, and technology obsolescence risks proactively.Promote the adoption of reusable shared services and enterprise standards.Mandatory RequirementsBachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.Hands-on experience supporting Front Office and/or Middle Office banking applications.Strong understanding of application support, application ownership, and service management.Experience with:Application monitoring and observability tools.Integration technologies such as web services, messaging systems, and file transfer solutions.Database design, SQL development, query optimization, and log analysis.Git and source control management.Jira or similar ticketing platforms.Practical knowledge of enterprise architecture principles and secure design practices.Hands-on experience with Java technologies and software development lifecycle processes.Experience using IDEs for development, troubleshooting, and debugging.Strong Oracle Database and SQL expertise.Experience working with the Actico platform in operational or support environments.Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.Proactive mindset with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.Ability to solve complex problems while maintaining an end-to-end business perspective.Nice To HaveExperience within Compliance, Regulatory, or Financial Crime domains.Knowledge of Wealth Management or Private Banking environments.Actico Rules or Visual Rules certifications/training.Experience with cloud migration initiatives and modern API architectures.Exposure to observability, logging, and enterprise integration platforms.What can we offer?23 days of Annual Leave plus the 24th and 31st of December as discretionary days!Numerous benefits (Health Care Plan, Internet Connectivity, Life and Accident Insurances).Retribución Flexible Program (Meals, Kindergarten, Transport, Online English Lessons, Health Care Plan...).Free access to several training platforms.Professional stability and career plans.UST also compensates referrals from which you could benefit when you refer professionals.The option to pick between 12 or 14 payments along the year.Real Work-Life Balance measures (flexibility, WFH or remote work policy, compacted hours during summertime...).UST Club Platform discounts and gym access discounts.If you would like to know more, do not hesitate to apply and we'll get in touch to provide further details.
