As a GIS commissioning specialist, you will play a crucial role in implementing our projects in diverse locations, often requiring extended periods abroad. Your work will directly contribute to our efforts in promoting sustainable energy solutions and advancing global electrification initiatives.How You’ll Make An ImpactConduct commissioning activities for Gas Insulated Switchgear systems, ensuring they are installed and functioning according to design specifications and industry standards.Perform pre-commissioning inspections and tests to verify the integrity and compliance of electrical systems before they go live and execute functional and performance testing of GIS equipment, documenting results and addressing any discrepancies or issues.Collaborate with project teams to ensure timely and efficient project execution, contributing to the electrification of communities and industries while maintaining high safety standards.Prioritize health and safety by adhering to all safety protocols and regulations, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and your team and provide technical support and training to local teams and clients, empowering them to operate and maintain GIS systems effectively and safely.Document findings, prepare commissioning reports, and communicate effectively with stakeholders about the status and performance of commissioned systems.Adapt to various working conditions and cultures while maintaining a positive attitude and a strong commitment to health and safety practices.What You BringA degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, or equivalent technical experience.Strong problem-solving skills and a hands-on approach to engineering challenges.Willingness to travel extensively, with availability for travel abroad 80-90% of the time.Fluency in English, with outstanding communication skills, is essential.A proactive attitude and a passion for learning and professional growth.About The TeamOur Grid Technologies division enables a reliable, sustainable, and digital grid.
