Frequentis also delivers advanced voice communication systems, command‑and‑control solutions, and deployable air traffic control technologies tailored to defence environments.Your RoleWe are looking for a skilled Communications Systems Engineer with expertise in both Linux platforms and Voice over IP (VoIP) technologies, who will take a key role in the SIP technical implementation and service lifecycle of our systems, ensuring both delivery excellence and high-quality service support for our customers in the Defence domain.Join our team and help make our systems even more reliable and customer oriented. Work for an international technological leader and enjoy flexible working arrangements, professional growth opportunities, and a strong focus on work-life balance.Working ModelHybrid working model with occasional home officeRegular travel to our Vienna headquarters (typically once per week; up to three times per week during key project phases)International business travel approximately 25–30% of the time for customer installations, upgrades and acceptance activitiesCompany cars are available for business travel to ViennaMain ResponsibilitiesPlan, design, and implement technical solutions for customer delivery projects, ensuring compliance with system requirements and quality standards including activities performed at customer´s sitesIntegrate systems and components into complex environmentsPerform system audits, participate in site acceptances, and ensure system readinessPrepare and maintain technical documentation, including configuration records, design specifications, and operational manualsAssist customers with technical questions related to system operation, configuration, and serviceCollaborate with Product Management on designing and extending/improving productsSupport the transition of delivery projects into the service phase, ensuring smooth knowledge transfer and operational readinessService and maintenance duties: Handle service tickets (incidents, problems, configuration changes) within agreed response times and participate in on-call duties.
