Today, we are one of Europe’s leading providers of market data and financial software, helping professionals navigate markets with confidence and speed.About the RoleWe are looking for a Business Analyst – Financial Markets to help build the business analysis layer within our Data Intelligence business unit. You will identify emerging market and customer needs, turn them into a clear long-term vision, and help translate that vision into a product and technology roadmap.This role sits between financial markets, data, product, and technology. You will work closely with customers across Europe and collaborate with product managers, developers, quantitative specialists, and content teams across Europe.ResponsibilitiesAnalyze future market trends and growth areas, e.g. AI-native financial-data infrastructure, valuation & risk, private markets, fixed-income/high-yield analytics, evaluated pricing, ETPs, T+1/T+0, wealth/advisory workflows and tokenized assets.Track regulatory developments and their commercial/product implications, e.g. ESAP, RIS, MiFID, CCI, AVD and related initiatives.Analyze customer tasks, processes and end-to-end workflows.Define client personas, use cases, pain points and specific requirements.Identify opportunities for internal process optimization and automation.Assess new product/service opportunities and support business cases.Translate findings into structured requirements for Product Management.Define requirements for Content Analysts, Product, Development and Operations regarding data, coverage, quality, reliability and enrichment.Support prototypes, client validation and early go-to-market activities.Who you areWhat we’re looking forStrong knowledge of financial markets.Good understanding of data and how it supports financial-market products and decisions.Technical affinity and an interest in using new tools, including AI and low-code solutions.Experience analyzing complex business topics and translating them into actionable product or technical requirements.Strong communication skills and the confidence to engage directly with customers.A collaborative, proactive approach and the ability to work effectively across disciplines.Curiosity about market trends, regulation, technology, and evolving customer needs.What success looks likeIn your first months, you will build an understanding of our products, teams, and current priorities before taking ownership of defined analysis topics.
