By combining technological expertise with close collaboration between customers, physicians, and engineers, we continuously develop solutions that improve patient outcomes and make surgical procedures safer and more efficient.As part of our team, you will contribute to technologies that are shaping the future of modern healthcare.As a Working Student in our System Verification Team, you will support the testing and verification of medical devices and tubing systems used in minimally invasive surgery.Working closely with experienced engineers and verification specialists, you will help execute test cases, document results, analyze findings, and contribute to ensuring the highest quality standards for our products. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in medical technology, testing methodologies, and quality assurance processes while working with innovative healthcare solutions.Your ResponsibilitiesSupport the System Verification (SV) and NPI teams in planning and executing product verification activitiesPrepare and maintain test setups, equipment, and testing environmentsExecute test cases according to defined protocols and accurately document resultsIdentify, investigate, and report test deviations, defects, or inconsistenciesAssist in creating, updating, and maintaining verification documentation and reportsParticipate in test planning, reviews, and team discussionsSupport troubleshooting activities and contribute to problem-solving during testingHelp ensure that testing is performed using appropriate calibrated equipmentMaintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory environmentLearn and apply testing methodologies, processes, and quality standardsRequired Experience, Education, Skills And CompetenciesEnrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Engineering (e.g. Engineering, Medical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechatronics) First experience gained through university projects, internship, or student work in testing, quality assurance, or engineering is beneficialExperience with testing tools, automation, C# or LabVIEW idealStructured working style, analytical thinking, and problem-solving capabilities Interst in medical technology and product testingBasic knowledge of testing principles and quality assurance methodsGood English and German language skillsNovanta is proud to be an equal employment opportunity and affirmative action workplace.
