Salary Ranges13,000-16,000 PLN on B2BPurpose of RoleWe are looking for a Mid QA Engineer to join our QA team and support quality across data-driven and web applications.In this role, you will initially focus on database test analysis and development, working with tests written in Python and validating data using SQL. Over time, the role will also expand into web application testing, including Playwright/TypeScript automation and manual feature testing.This is a good fit for someone who enjoys technical QA work, understands testing fundamentals, is comfortable working with data, and can use AI tools effectively in day-to-day engineering tasks.What You Will Be DoingAnalysing, maintaining and extending automated database tests written in PythonVerifying data correctness using SQL and investigating data-related issuesSupporting test coverage for data processing and database-related logicCreating and maintaining automated tests, initially focused on DB tests and later also E2E/UI testsPerforming manual feature, regression and UI testing for web applicationsSupporting cross-browser and cross-application testingReporting, tracking and verifying bugs in JiraSupporting releases, documentation and QA feedback loopsCollaborating closely with developers, QA engineers, product and data-focused teamsUsing AI tools to support test analysis, test creation, debugging and day-to-day QA workWe Are Looking For2+ years of experience in QA, including manual and/or automated testing Experience with test automationGood understanding of testing concepts, test design and defect reportingBasic to intermediate Python skills, or willingness to work with Python-based test automationPractical SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databasesAbility to analyse data, investigate inconsistencies and reason about expected resultsStrong logical and analytical thinking skillsExperience with UI and/or web application testingStrong communication and collaboration skillsEnglish at B2 level or higherIt would be nice to haveExperience with Playwright and TypeScriptExperience with CI/CD and GitHub/GitLab pipelinesExperience with database testing or data quality testingExperience working with cross-functional engineering teamsExperience testing AI-powered features or using AI tools in QA workflowsBasic understanding of cloud-based or containerised environmentsTech stackYou Do Not Need To Know All Of These Technologies From Day One, But These Are The Tools And Technologies You May Work WithPythonSQLPostgreSQL, BigQueryPlaywright, TypeScriptJavaScriptReact, Node.js, ExpressDocker, Kubernetes, GCPAbout UsOpensignal is the leading global provider of independent insight and data into network experience and market performance.
