Language: English / French Location: Paris, France Employment Type: PermanentRelocation / Sponsorship: AvailableRole OverviewWe are looking for a Senior Murex Operations Consultant to join the Client Services Delivery Pool, supporting Murex client projects across Europe. The consultant will work across Murex Operations, support, validation, testing, defect analysis and functional delivery, while also contributing to the technical and functional design and build activities of the solution.This role requires a consultant who is highly autonomous, able to manage assigned tasks independently, and comfortable working with both functional and technical stakeholders. The successful candidate should bring strong Murex operations experience, good communication skills, and the ability to contribute beyond BAU support into configuration, validation, solution build and delivery activity.Key ResponsibilitiesContribute to the technical and functional design and build activities of the Murex solution in Agile delivery mode.Support Murex Operations activity across BAU, project delivery, validation and client support.Participate in customer show-and-tell sessions, demos and stakeholder interactions.Analyse and follow up on project cases, incidents and defects.Write and execute test scenarios during test campaigns.Analyse and reconcile data across source and target systems, identifying and resolving discrepancies.Support the client during the validation phase, including SIT and UAT.Liaise with and report progress to the stream lead, Delivery Pool Manager and Project Manager.Provide functional and technical expertise to team members and junior consultants.Work autonomously on project activities with limited supervision.Participate in client support activities as part of a wider support coordinator model.Coordinate BAU and project support for an assigned stream.Understand the full scope of client activity and resolve issues within that context.Act as the first level of escalation or quality control for the assigned workstream.Manage bug fixes, enhancements and follow-up with relevant delivery teams.Organise and conduct on-site client visits where required.Take ownership of upgrades for the assigned stream where applicable.Mentor and train new joiners and support consultants.Required Skills & Experience6–8 years of Murex experience, including at least 5 years working on Murex MX.3 Operations.Strong experience in Murex Operations, production support, functional support, validation and client-facing delivery.Ability to work autonomously on assigned tasks with limited supervision.Experience contributing to technical and functional design / build activities within a Murex project environment.Good understanding of Murex project delivery across support, testing, defect management, validation and release activity.Experience writing and executing test scenarios, supporting SIT / UAT and analysing test outcomes.Strong experience with incident analysis, defect follow-up, data reconciliation and discrepancy resolution.Ability to communicate effectively with client stakeholders, project teams, developers, support teams and management.Strong understanding of BAU support processes, escalation management, quality control and operational governance.Experience supporting bug fixes, enhancements and project delivery in an Agile environment.Good knowledge of DevOps would be a plus.Knowledge of Collateral would be a plus.
