This is not a pure backend role, and not classic consulting either. It's a high-ownership position where you work directly with enterprise stakeholders to build something real.What You’ll DoTurn ambiguous customer problems into scoped, buildable solutions — then ship themBuild with modern applied AI (LLMs, agentic workflows, vision models, embeddings, heuristics) to solve high-impact problemsDesign data pipelines for document ingestion, extraction, validation, and orchestration on top of Kuro's platform abstractionsIdentify recurring patterns across projects and codify them into reusable templatesBalance speed, accuracy, and pragmatism — and know when to keep a human in the loopHelp shape the technical direction of both the product and the companyAs one of our first forward deployed engineering hires, you'll have significant influence on how we build, what we build, and how fast we move.Past Projects You Would Have Been Part OfLLM extraction agent for interior estimationBuilt a PoC that extracts quantities from unstructured documents, saving ~4 days of work per project.Subcontractor KYC automationDeveloped an internal app to automate KYC checks, reducing manual effort by ~50%.LLM-based Bill of Quantities parsingCreated a parser that structures complex BoQs automatically, saving hours per day for procurement managers.Construction ontologies with enterprise customersCo-developed interior and shell construction ontologies that power downstream AI automation.Current TechIt is still day 0 for Kuro.
