In this role, you will primarily focus on the design and development of mechanical systems and enclosures that support our products. The majority of your work will involve the mechanical design of ground-based equipment and flight support systems rather than the drone itself. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys designing robust, manufacturable products for series production.What you'll doDesign and develop mechanical components and assemblies using SolidWorks.Create and optimize sheet metal designs for manufacturing.Design products with a strong focus on series production, manufacturability and cost efficiency.Produce detailed drawings, BOMs and technical documentation.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of mechanical, electrical and manufacturing requirements.Support prototyping, testing and implementation of design improvements.Contribute to continuous improvement of mechanical designs and production processes.What we're looking forRequired:Strong experience with SolidWorks (or a comparable CAD program).Experience in sheet metal design.Experience designing products for series production/manufacturing.Ability to translate concepts into practical, manufacturable designs.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Good communication skills in English.Nice to have:Fundamental understanding of DC power systems.Fundamental understanding of generator systems and diesel engines.Experience implementing vibration isolation solutions.Experience with the 3DEXPERIENCE software suite.What we offerA challenging engineering role with plenty of autonomy.The opportunity to work on innovative technology in a multidisciplinary team.A collaborative, informal working environment.Competitive salary (EUR 3600 - 4100) and attractive employment conditions.
