The Software Solutions department wants to strengthen the traceability and verifiability of secure coding practices, driven by increasing internal and external requirements.You will analyze operational processes and CI/CD pipelines, identify and document current secure coding practices, make the current and desired way of working transparent, and propose pragmatic improvements. You will also align with internal stakeholders and translate this into practical guidance for engineering teams.What will you do?As a Senior Secure Programming Specialist, you bring structure and evidence to how secure coding is applied in practice.Inventorying and documenting secure coding practices in the SDLC.Making the current and desired way of working transparent through a gap analysis.Identifying and prioritizing improvement opportunities, in alignment with risk and security stakeholders.Communicating practical guidance to engineering teams via intranet and Guilds.Preparing an evidence package for internal and external review.What do you bring?You are a pragmatic, hands-on specialist who navigates complexity with ease, and who is equally comfortable convincing senior management and bringing technical architects and developers along.Higher professional education (HBO) level.7+ years of relevant experience.Experience with secure coding, software engineering, and hands-on experience enhancing an SDLC.Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.Strong communication skills to convince senior management and translate between technical and business stakeholders.Experience in regulated environments.Strong command of English; Dutch is a plus.Nice to haveExperience in financial services.Experience in organizations that develop core systems in-house.Experience in DevSecOps, Security Architecture, or Software SecurityThis assignment offers the chance to make a direct, visible contribution to the security of software development at a bank that holds diligence as a core value.
