This is a high-impact role with end-to-end ownership: from defining product vision and aligning stakeholders across countries, to ensuring scalable, reliable delivery that empowers downstream product teams.In our matrix organization, you will work closely with product, engineering, data science, research, content, legal, commercial, and local country teams. You will report to the Senior Manager Core Digital Services for day-to-day delivery and to the ‘Product Management competence lead’ for your professional development.Your Key ResponsibilitiesDefine, own, and communicate the product vision and roadmap for Content as a Service, aligned with market needs across multiple countriesLead cross-functional collaboration across engineering, data science, integrations, legal, content, commercial, and country organizations to turn strategy into shipped outcomesOwn end-to-end product delivery, including discovery, prioritization, release planning, launch coordination, and post-launch optimizationOversee product releases and dependencies across multiple teams, ensuringEfficient onboarding of content from diverse source systems (CMSs, repositories, spreadsheets)High-quality enrichment with educational and semantic metadata (e.g. learning objectives)Reliable, high-performance APIs and services for content consumptionEnable downstream product innovation, ensuring digital customer-facing products and AI solutions can seamlessly access and utilise content and metadata at scaleTranslate strategic goals into actionable plans by refining epics and keeping priorities transparent and focused on user and business impactChampion data-informed decision-making, leveraging usage analytics, experiments, and user research to continuously improve learning outcomes and adoptionRepresent the product to senior stakeholders, clearly communicating progress, risks, trade-offs, and impactWhat We Expect From You5+ years of experience in product management, product ownership, or a comparable role, preferably in platform, API or data-driven productsProven ability to lead products in complex, matrix environments with multiple stakeholders and competing prioritiesExperience delivering platform capabilities or shared services used by multiple teams or marketsDemonstrated interest or experience in AI-driven solutions and data-enabled productsExcellent communication skills in English (spoken and written), able to influence technical and non-technical audiences at all levelsBonus pointsHands-on experience with APIs, content platforms, data pipelines, or microservices architecturesExperience with semantic metadata, taxonomy design, or learning content modelsFamiliarity with LLMs, recommendation systems, or AI-based content enrichmentExperience in EdTech, learning platforms, or enterprise-scale digital ecosystemsKeys to SuccessStrong product judgment – able to define value in platform contexts and balance platform vs. product needsAbility to translate internal customer needs into scalable platform solutionsData-driven decision-making approach Proactive and positive “can-do” attitude, demonstrating initiative and resilienceStrong organizational skills, adept at managing multiple tasks simultaneouslySelf-motivated, consistently seeking opportunities for improvement and innovationPosition SpecsType of Work – Hybrid modelContract – Permanent, Full timeAbout Sanoma LearningHow do you prepare students for the world, engage their curiosity and inspire them to grow?
