Senior Full-Stack EngineerMunich, Germany | 4 Days Onsite, 1 Day Remote | Full-TimeWe're partnering with an innovative technology business building a next-generation Physical Identity & Access Management (PIAM) platform that is transforming how organisations manage identity workflows, approvals and access management.This is an opportunity to join a highly experienced engineering team at an exciting stage of growth, where you'll have genuine ownership, influence technical decisions and help shape a complex, modern software platform from the ground up.What You'll Be DoingAs a Senior Full-Stack Engineer, you'll own features from concept through to production. You'll be designing backend services, developing APIs, building intuitive React interfaces and helping evolve a sophisticated workflow engine powering real-world identity management processes.You'll work across:Python, Django & Django NinjaReact & TypeScriptPostgreSQLEvent-driven architecture & workflow orchestrationExternal system integrationsCI/CD, Docker and modern cloud infrastructureThis is a hands-on engineering role for someone who enjoys solving complex technical challenges and wants to make a real impact within a small, high-performing team.What We're Looking For5+ years of commercial Full-Stack Software Engineering experienceStrong Python experience, ideally with DjangoStrong React and TypeScript skillsExperience designing scalable backend systems and REST APIsSolid knowledge of PostgreSQL and relational databasesExperience working with workflow engines, state machines, event-driven architectures or distributed systemsComfortable using AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor, Claude Code or similar as part of your daily engineering workflowStrong communication skills with the ability to work independentlyNice to HaveDocker and CI/CD experienceInfrastructure as Code and DevOps exposureExperience with OAuth2/OIDC authenticationKnowledge of event sourcing or Saga patternsExperience within Identity & Access Management, Security or Physical Access ControlOpen-source contributionsLocationThis role is based in Munich, Germany and requires engineers to work 4 days per week onsite, with 1 day per week working remotely.Language RequirementApplicants must have German language skills at B2 level or above
