Are you passionate about building robust data pipelines and working closely with business and data governance teams?At Q-tech, we're hiring a Senior Data Engineer (Snowflake) to join a data infrastructure team that lays the secure, scalable and trustworthy foundation for storing, processing and distributing critical data at a leading international financial services firm.Location: Madrid / Hybrid work model.In this role, you'll design pipelines and platform components that support decision-making, reporting and analytics, working closely with data governance teams and business stakeholders.Key responsibilities:Architect and deploy ELT pipelines using dbt on Snowflake, following established data modeling standards.Build and maintain data products for fund accounting, positions, NAV and regulatory reporting.Define data contracts, quality expectations and monitoring alerts.Develop infrastructure components using Terraform or other infrastructure-as-code tools.Partner with architecture, security and compliance teams to strengthen platform security and reliability.Translate product vision into platform capabilities alongside product owners.What we're looking for:10+ years of experience in data engineering.Advanced Snowflake expertise (architecture, performance tuning, Snowpark, Streamlit).Strong dbt proficiency (models, macros, testing and deployment).Advanced Python skills for pipeline development.Enterprise data modeling experience (dimensional modeling, SCD, Data Vault).Familiarity with cloud platforms (GCP preferred).Experience with Airflow, StreamSets and data governance tools.Financial services domain knowledge is a plus.Fluent English.Ability to leverage AI tools responsibly to optimize workflows.If you're ready to take on technical challenges of this caliber, reach out or send us your CV.#DataEngineering #Snowflake #dbt #DataPlatform #TechJobs #Hiring #QtechSourced from LinkedIn.
