Role overview:We are seeking a Senior Design/Developer to act as the design and front-end technical lead for client facing Portals. This is a hybrid role combining UX ownership (requirements-to-prototype, design system governance) with hands-on senior front-end engineering leadership. The ideal candidate translates ambiguous business requirements into validated, high-fidelity prototypes, then leads (and codes alongside) the mid-level development team to deliver pixel-accurate, accessible, enterprise-grade portal experiences.What can we offer?Start as soon as possibleB2B Contract or Temporary Employment ContractWork mode: Hybrid in Warsaw (3 times per week from office)Salary: Up to 190 PLN net+VAT/h (B2B) / Up to 22 350 PLN gross/month (Temp)Project in the banking sectorRequirements:At least 8+ years hands-on React/TypeScript development and a strong UI/UX design portfolioExpert-level proficiency in design/prototyping tools (e.g., Figma), including component libraries and design systemsStrong hands-on React.js + TypeScript development experience (component architecture, state management, hooks)Demonstrated experience translating designs into production-quality, responsive, accessible UIFamiliarity with containerized application environments (Docker/Kubernetes/OpenShift) and modern CI/CD pipelinesStrong stakeholder management - comfortable defending design decisions to both business and engineering audiencesExperience reviewing code and providing technical/design feedback within a team settingNice to have:Working knowledge of Java or .NET (for backend collaboration/awareness — not a core build requirement)Experience with Micro Frontend architectures (Module Federation, single-spa).Basic SQL/database knowledgePrior experience in financial services, fund administration, or transfer agency platformsResponsibilities:Own the requirements-to-prototype pipeline: run discovery with business/product stakeholders, produce wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity designsDefine and enforce UI/UX standards, interaction patterns, and design system usage across all TA Portal applicationsArchitect and build key React/TypeScript front-end components and shared UI libraries, setting technical and design precedent for the teamReview pull requests and provide constructive, actionable feedback to mid-level developers on both design fidelity and code qualityPartner with backend/API teams to ensure front-end designs are technically feasible within service and data constraintsDrive accessibility compliance (WCAG 2.1 AA) and responsive design across all portal screensConduct usability testing/validation sessions and iterate designs based on user feedback and analyticsMentor mid-level UI/UX developers on both design thinking and React best practicesParticipate in architecture/design governance reviews as design owner for the portalSourced from LinkedIn.
